The judges play a huge part in the role of the NNBN Awards. They are independent, unbiased and are from across the county and judge every entry. Please meet this year’s judges below. They have had the hard task of going through every entry which was a very hard job after the large amount of amazing entries we have received this year!

President of the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce

Robyn has been an active part of the Northamptonshire business community since 2016 and is the current President of the Northamptonshire & Milton Keynes Chambers of Commerce. She prides herself on focussing on people first, and everything else coming second. As well as running her own business, she has mentored other business owners and supported them in making positive decisions to help their businesses grow. She is honoured to be part of the NNBN judging team and is looking forward to seeing all the finalists on the night.

Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Town Centre Regeneration and Growth, West Northamptonshire Council

As portfolio holder for Economic Development, Town Centre Regeneration and Growth (which also includes Tourism and Adult Learning) I oversee the ambitious regeneration programme across West Northamptonshire which aims to transform our places into vibrant and attractive places where all can enjoy. I also oversee the work of the Economy Team which includes supporting local employers to overcome challenges and realise opportunities, nurturing local skill levels and employment, managing and delivering funding streams to enhance the economy, enhancing the visitor economy and tourism as well as delivering pro-active inward investment initiatives to attract new employers and developers to the region.

Executive Member for Regeneration and Growth, North Northamptonshire Council

David is on the Executive of North Northamptonshire Council, with a portfolio which includes business, growth and regeneration across the area. Away from the Council, David runs an insurance consultancy in the international specie and fine art worlds as well as in cargo, and transportation, representing Experts in the Lloyd’s of London Insurance marketplace
